installation Instructions
IP65 LED Strip Light Installation
- Clean the mounting surface before installation to ensure the adhesive backing can bond correctly.
- Measure the required length of LED strip before installation.
- Cut the strip only at the designated cutting marks.
- If additional wiring is required, solder the wires at the appropriate printed connection point.
- Install the aluminium profile in the desired location.
- Peel the 3M release paper gradually, section by section, while applying the strip to the mounting surface.
- Do not remove the entire release paper at once, as this can make installation difficult and cause the strip to become tangled.
- Do not press directly on the LED beads.
- Ensure the LED strip is correctly positioned inside the aluminium profile.
- Connect the strip to a compatible 24V DC constant-voltage LED driver.
- Test the lighting before completing the installation.
Important Installation Note
The LED strip must be installed with an aluminium profile to assist with heat dissipation. For bathroom and wet-area installations, all electrical components and connections must be appropriately protected, and the installation must comply with applicable Australian electrical requirements and bathroom electrical zones.
